Matt Lamb established Assured Asset Testing Pty Ltd (AAT) in 2005 as part of his already successful electrical contracting company. Realising his passion, Matt decided to focus his attention on the testing and WHS side of the business. Consequently, AAT has steadily grown into the successful entity it is today.
Matt is a licensed electrician by trade. Prior to taking on business ownership, Matt gained invaluable experience from serving 10 years with Ausgrid/Energy Australia in substation construction and maintenance divisions. Matt was then asked to join The United Group for a period of two years to implement a 24 hour, state-wide maintenance contract with Vodafone, and he remained there until the completion of the contractual phase. Matt then joined Total Electrical Connection P/L for a period of two years to manage the electrical maintenance of the Sydney David Jones retail stores.
Our service, administration, accounts, sales and senior management teams are based at AAT Head Office in Sydney. Our teams meet regularly and are closely networked with a focus on efficiency and providing the best possible service for our clients.

All work carried out by AAT is accompanied by an easily deciphered report. Each item listed on the report has an asset ID allocated to it, identical to the tag. At a glance, you can ascertain that whatever work is indicated on the report has been carried out at your site.
AAT technicians can carry out plug and socket repairs or replacements on most equipment. AAT also supply and install Emergency and Exit Lights, RCDs, Fire extinguishers and certain replacement stock such as powerboards and extension leads where requested.
Our auto-scheduling program will ensure that equipment is re-tested by the due date. We contact you to arrange a suitable time for our tech to visit.
All reports, invoicing and servicing requisitions for local and national sites are managed through our Sydney office. This simple method ensures you have one point of contact for all liaising and correspondence.
AAT utilises the latest up-to-date computer technology to carry out the specific task of testing and tagging. We use the Seaward Primetest 300, which has the guarantee of not damaging sensitive and sophisticated electronic equipment.
